Do you really want community?

It’s not a rhetorical question. I’m asking you.

Do you really want community?

Do I?

The concept of community MUST be valuable considering marketers and product pushers all over the world have co-opted “building community” as one of their value ads.

What I do want is the feeling I get when I walk away from a conversation feeling full, needing more, and perhaps even confused. Confusion is a great tool. I want to expand. I want to feel propelled to SEEK.

This is how we sustain our creative life. But/and…

If we haven’t seen something exist yet in the world, it is often hard to imagine it, much less believe in its possibility at all.

(P.S. this is why some folks have a really hard time supporting defunding the police!)

So how do we propose we strengthen our imagination?
