Blooming in Business
“Business” sometimes seems to require such brutal language.
Cut throat. Hemorrhaging money. Bleeding dry. Kicking tires. Bottlenecked. Kill fee.
What if we developed businesses and practices that were nurtured and then blossomed?
What would that sound like, what would that look like?
And if we talked to ourselves like we talk to our plants?*
How would you feel and how would you treat others?

Yeah, it’s an easy metaphor but the message—if fostered—can be quite potent. So here’s a new business mantra for you:
FIND THE LIGHT YOU NEED TO GROW
STAY OUT OF PLACES THAT MAKE YOU WITHER
*This post assumes that you are speaking to your fig trees, monsteras, fiddle leafs, and peperomioidie friends in a calm, soothing, and supportive voice. If you are screaming at your house plants, or even criticizing them every time you walk through the door, please stop/how can we help/did a plant hurt you before?
