About the course:
Every student has a meaningful story to tell but too often that story is, “I can’t.” Let’s revise that.
We'll begin with a virtual intro meeting to collaborate on exercises for self discovery and material generation, with opportunities for live Q&A.
Each session thereafter is self-paced with anytime access to lesson videos, worksheets, handouts, prompts, top tips and checklists for success, and more.
An opportunity for 1-on-1 feedback and essay review is available at the end of the course.

To the students working towards justice and equity, and those who are sharing (or thinking about how to share) personal stories that are vulnerable, powerful, and absolutely very difficult to write: I am here to call you in.
I am here to help YOU because your story matters.
Just as every story and perspective is different, every student learns differently and at their own speed.
The majority of this course is self paced, with a variety of learning tools including videos, worksheets, and prompts.

Kristy Martino

With nearly two decades of experience as a cross-creative, Kristy guides people in developing their own stories, marketing their work, and empowering themselves at points of professional transition.
As the business owner of an award winning design studio, she’s worked with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and startups to build and launch living, breathing brands communicating to global audiences.
As a professional advocate, she’s trained hundreds across the United States to share their stories—taking them from the page to the stage of the Moth Radio Hour and the offices of Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
